I Am Not Trayvon Martin

I Am Not Trayvon Martin

What a powerful statement from someone who understands that you don’t have to identify with a victim to identify injustice. Today, I’m praying for the families involved in this tragedy, all who posses hate in their hearts and for victims of injustice. People need God and I’m praying that I can be one to help others find Him.

  1. “…you don’t have to identify with a victim to identify injustice.” Jesus, YES! I thank GOD for this truth. i need God, indeed! i kept making the tongue in cheek statement that i couldn’t watch the trial b/c my grace meter wasn’t high enough, but it’s really true that i feel hatred bubbling up for the unrepentant attitude being displayed.

  3. but zimmerman’s attitude isn’t the issue. my attitude is. the ppl KILLING Jesus didn’t have a repentant attitude, whatsoever, and yet, He interceded WHILE they were continuing in unrepentant sin, crucifying their Lord, unaware of their need for the blood they shed…smh…zimmerman is AS deserving of such a prayer. I need Jesus to help me pray that prayer.
